Last March 16, 2009, i was there at the resort and spent 2 days for a vacation with my love one. It was a day for a fiesta celebration called " Araw ng Davao", a yearly event that we always celebrate here in Davao City. This was also my first time to see the resort, eversince i lived here. It took us more than an hour to reach the place. Before taking the boat in going there, we have a picture taking first and there was a birthday party for a 1-year old girl that held at the beach front. I was very amazed because of the settings that were very colorful with many ballons and a very BIG cake. I just can't imagine only few people could afford to spent with that kind of party only for just a 1-year old girl.
So, when we almost got there, we were welcomed by the staff by playing a tribal music and they gave us a drink some kind of juice . Then they drove us to our place to stay in for a couple of days. The foods were served in a buffet type and that costs us 600 to 800 pesos per meal. But you can also have options by ordering per kind of food you want to eat. So, i eat a lot as too many foods were delicious and that my stomach keeps me always in full..hahaha. i never mind with my die at all..it was so great! The resort is a big place, you can even hike few kilometers. They also have swimming pools if you want to swim for free that is included in their package. At night, they have so called " Mindanao nights", it is a program that held inside their restaurant in a buffet type. It is a fun show, games, a tribal dance numbers, a singing tribal songs . Audience was invited to participate to dance. In fact, i participated in their games by just answering a sort of questions that were narrated and you need to listen on it and you have to guess it. I was able to answer and they gave me a souvenier item as my reward..it's unforgettable experience..to be continued...
