When i was at the NSO office in Quezon City, i had this good timing that i experienced on the day that I requested a copy of my Birth Certificate for a correction. As per their standard operating procedure, the guard gave me a priority number before i could proceed. My number was on 1064 So, i went to the wating area and looked for a vacant seat but it was a verly long lines until i could reached at the officer’s desk. As i took a glanced i found one vacant seat just almost on the second row and almost near the officer’s desk. So, without hesitation, i immediately went to as its like i was almost running coz of was thinking that there might somebody would wanted to take that seat also. While waiting to be called, i was looking at the queing screen and the number showned was only at 490 but honestly, i was so nervous because, my flight to davao will be at 2pm and i was looking at my number that it was impossible for me to be at the window before 12pm as my target time to finished it. So, i was keep on praying that it will be done faster as much a i was expected.
Then, another timing again as I keep turning my head left and right and then looked down on the floor, i saw a piece of paper and guess what?… it was a priority number. I tried to read it and whats good enough is that the number was dated on that day also. Then, i picked it up and called the assigned guard on duty, who was roaming around back and forth in our waiting area then i asked him if the number was still valid and if i can still used it as my priority number. And he answered “Yes”. Ohh…how i felt so very lucky and a good timing again coz this number was on 615, and i was little bit relieved again because on the queing screen it showned 515 and it was then be more better than my first priority number which was supposed to be on my 1064. When i was already seated on the first row, I just waiting for my name next to be called by the officer to be intertained with my problems for correction of my Birth Certificate that i’ve been following for many months. When it was my turned to sit down and talked with the officer, i showed to him my legal documents from the Court to order for correction. After he reads all of it, he went inside the office and then came back, he told me that it’s now ok and that i only have to wait for my priority number to appear on the screen. So, without delayed, i went to the queing area and i keep on eye on the screen so that i will not missed my number. Now, my number 615 was showed up on screen so, i need to go inside for me to be able to line up and submit my requested Birth Certificate form, which has already corrected. At last, i was scheduled to released my corrected BC around 1pm. But poor girl…, i could no longer get it coz i’ll be at the airport already by that time, so, i just asked my brother to claimed it. Then, i went back to my cousins house to get all my baggage and took my lunch first and then leave the house exactly around 11:45am and get into Airport and fly back in Davao.Wow! this is amazing experienced i had to think about it, coz without these things happened, i’m sure, my follow up of my corrected Birth Certificate will not be sucessfully accomplished. You just imagined the good timings i had. First, was the vacant seat, which i found and almost i was getting nearer to the officer’s desk or else, i will be on the last seat, which is on the 10th row seat. Second, the priority number 615 which i found it on the floor, which is nearer number that will be showed up on the queing screen or else i will be the 1064 person to be entertained..Oh! it was really for me that God in his goodness, he find ways to make all these things possible..
